Description

Furnish and install all materials and labor in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project VNVP 007002, Remove Oil/Water Separators, Phase 2, located at Sheppard AFB TX, buildings 1929, 1956, 2009, 2023(N), 2023(S), 2111, 2122, 2410, and 2536. Oil/water separators addressed by this project shall be removed in a manner similar to protocols found in TNRCC UST regulations and guidance documents. Removal of oil/water separators includes plugging drains, flushing influent lines to the oil/water separators, excavating the separator, sampling soil, disposing of waste materials and site restoration as designated on the plans. All work will provide complete and usable facilities. The contractor shall have a minimum of 2 years of tank removal experience and shall be certified by the State of Texas for tank removal work. This solicitation is being issued for full and open competition under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23499, with a size standard of $27.5M. Project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 135 calendar days from issue of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation will be available on or about 25 January 2001. Proposals will be due on or about 26 February 2001. A site visit for this project is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. [CST], 31 January 2001; meeting location will be at the 82d Contracting Squadron [Building 1664], 136 K Avenue, Suite 1, Sheppard AFB TX.
