Description

This solicitation will result in an indefinite-quantity contract to provide services for planting and tubing government-furnished tree and shrub seedlings, and tree sticks on the Paulina Ranger District of the Ochoco National Forest. Planting will consist of plants, replants, riparian stick and seedling plantings. Item 01A, minimum plant on a 10x10 is 350 ac, maximum 475 acres; Item 01B, 10x10 tube install, 92 minimum acres, 300 maximum acres; 01C 10x10 tube install (replants) 150 acres, maximum 350 acres; 01D Riparian Seedling plnat by the tree, minimum 6,000 each, maximum 20,000; 01E Riparian Stick plant, 0 minimum, maximum 12,000; and Item 01F, Riparian tube, minimum 0 each and a maximum 20,000 each. Estimated start work date is end of April, 2001 or first week of May, 2001. Each Task Order issued requires 40 acres per day, minimum of 200 acres per week.
