Description

Contractor to provide all necessary labor, tools, materials and transcription equipment necessary to provide Medical Transcription Services for consolidated requirements for the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, consisting of the Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island Nebraska Divisions. Scope of work for medical transcription includes all dictation consisting of, but not limited to, Discharge Summary, Op reports, Consults, Compensation and Pension, GI procedures, Bronchoscopy, Caridac Procedures, Sleep Studies, EEG, EMG, Radiology reports, Progress notes, History and Physical, some letters etc. Requirements are for the contractor to access the VA Dictaphone Enterprise Express transcription system. Information will then be transcribed and downloaded into the Medical Center computer database. Any estimated long distance phone charges are to be built into the contract price and will be the responsibility of the contractor. A 24-hour turn-around time from dictation to download is mandatory, with STAT reports and History and Physicials having a 4-hour turnaround. The NAICS code is 561410 with a size standard of $5.0 million. RFP No. 636-25-01 has been assigned to this solicitation and will be available approximately February 1, 2001. All requests for bid packages must be in writing and may be faxed to 402-449-0612. This procurement is being completed in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Item. Proposals will be due back by approximately March 1, 2001 at 2:00 PM, at the Omaha Division, VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105, in Building 6, Room 115. This procurement is totally set aside for SBA certified HubZone contractors only.
