Description

Contractor to provide all necessary labor, tools, materials and vehicles necessary to provide Home Oxygen Services for the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, consisting of the Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska Divisions. Scope of work for home oxygen services includes, but is not limited to, oxygen, tanks, peripheral oxygen supplies, materials, equipment, qualified RRT personnel, supervision, management, transportation, patient education, safety management, and infection control to VA beneficiaries at their place of residence. The period of services will begin April 1, 2001 through March 31, 2002, and four (4) subsequent renewal periods. The contractor MUST be accredited by JCAHO at the time of the bid opening. IFB No. 636-26-01 has been assigned to this solicitation and will be available approximately February 1, 2001. NAICS Code No. 621610, Home Health Care Services, with a size standard of $10.0 million has been assigned to this solicitation. Bid packages will be available approximately February 1, 2001. All requests for bid packages must be in writing and may be faxed to 402-449-0612. This procurement is being completed in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Item. Bid opening will be held approximately March 1, 2001 at 2:00 PM, at the Omaha Division, VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105, in Building 6, Room 115. This procurement is totally set aside for small business.
