Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center-San Diego (SSD-SD) plans to issue a sole source request for proposal to BAE Systems-Information and Electronic Warfare Systems (formerly Lockheed Sanders) for engineering services to provide system engineering, production engineering, product improvement, equipment refurbishment, test support, installation and integration activities, integrated logistics support, and configuration management for the AN/QWT-2. The RFP is planned for 1 May 2001 for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for two years with three one year options. Potential offerors must possess a SECRET clearance. Firms feeling they possess the required capital equipment, experience, personnel, and processes are invited to submit responses in writing to SSC-SD, Attn: Rolando C. Munoz, 53560 Hull Street, Bldg A33, Room 1602W, San Diego, CA 92152-5001. Respondents should provide two (2) copies of their qualifications packages. Responses should include brochures, drawings and other substantive information demonstrating the contractor's ability to provide the aforementioned requirements. Proprietary data submitted in response to this synopsis will be protected when clearly identified as such. This is not a request for proposals nor does the government intend to pay for any information solicited. The information received under this announcement will not be used to qualify any source. It is for planning purposes only. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be made nor will telephone inquiries be honored. No hard copy versions of the solicitation will be available.
