Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for expert external review of and guidance on current and proposed management systems and practices that affect programmatic performance, customer relations, and strategic focus. The Contractor should represent a neutral, objective source of management advice, and will be expected to draw upon extensive executive-level experience in research management and deep familiarity with the mission and core functions of a scientific and technological organization. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be available in the solicitation package. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months from the date of purchase order. Anticipated award date is 02/09/01. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, with a size standard of $5.0 million. All interested firms may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
