Description

Single Award term contract for the Department of the Army. This contract is for the period of February 1, 2001 through January 31, 2002 and on option year. Quality Level IV is required. These specifications cover the production of a pamphlet, with separate cover, requiring such operations as electronic prepress/film-making, printing, binding, packing, and distribution. Approximately 6 issues a year averaging 13,000 copies per order. Approximately 52 pages plus separate cover per order; 8-1/2 x 11". Two sets of composite Dylux or similar required in book form per order. Text is on 50# White Offset Book; Cover is on 60# White Litho Coated Cover. Print cover and text head to head. Print covers 1 and 4 in black and an additional color of ink; covers 2 and 3 and text print in black ink. Saddle-wire stitch in two places and trim three sides. Mail f.o.b. contractor's city 7,500 copies to 7,500 addresses. Complete production and distribution within 20 workdays.
