Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to competitively procure instructor services for a Personal Financial Management Course to be taught to more than 50,000 students annually. The traiing will be provided at the following four locations: Service School Command (SSC), Great Lakes, IL; Navy Submarine School (NAVSUBSCOL), Groton, CT; Naval Aviation Technical Training Center (NATTC), Pensacola, FL; and Naval Technical Training Center (NTTC), Corry Station. Solicitation N00140-01-R-1047 shall contain a requirement for a base period of performance beginning 1 May 2001 through 30 September 2001 with four (4) one-year renewal option periods. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is anticipated and will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 "Acquisition of Commercial Items". A pre-proposal conference will be held at FISC Detachment Philadelphia on 31 January 2001 at 10:00 AM. Attendees must submit the name of attendee(s) and name of company at least 5 days before the date of the conference and may be submitted upon receipt of this notice. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to Rocco D. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. All prospective offerors are advised that, at the conclusion of the conference, unless this solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 611699 and $5M, respectively.
