LOCATION: Leased and postal-owned facilities located within the Appalachian District which includes the following counties in West Virginia: Barbour, Berkeley, Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Fayette, Gilmer, Grant, Greenbrier, Hampshire, Hardy, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Kanawha, Lewis, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Marion, Mason, Mercer, Mineral, Mingo, Monongalia, Monroe, Morgan, Nicholas, Pendleton, Pleasants, Pocahontas, Preston, Putnam, Raleigh, Randolph, Ritchie, Roane, Summers, Taylor, Tucker, Tyler, Upshur, Wayne, Webster, Wetzel, Wirt, Wood, Wyoming; and Virginia Counties: Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Bristol (city), Buchanan, Campbell, Carroll, Craig, Danville (city), Dickenson, Floyd, Fluvanna, Franklin, Galax (city), Giles, Grayson, Halifax, Henry, Lee, Lynchburg (city), Martinsville (city), Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Nelson, Norton (city), Patrick, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Radford (city), Roanoke, Roanoke (city), Rockbridge, Russell, Salem (city), Scott, Smyth, South Boston (city), Tazewell, Washington, Wise, Wythe; and Tennessee County of Sullivan. . DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary for and incidental to roof repair and replacement. The contract will be for a two year period. The total quantity of work ordered during the term of this contract will not be less than $10,000 nor more than $5,000,000. The initial contract value is $250,000 and the Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract, as deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer, not to exceed $5,000,000. Specific work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the unit price schedule and specifications. The maximum amount of any work order is $250,000; the minimum amount is $500. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Companies submitting offers must meet the following minimum requirements: 1) must be a roofing contractor with a minimum of five years experience performing installation, alteration, and replacement of a variety of roof types, including roofing materials and roof designs; 2) must have an established office or branch located in one of the above listed counties located in the service area of the Appalachian District.
