Description

1. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 2.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitations documents and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21 (through 12/20/2000). 2. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Overhead Hoist specified herein shall be a current and standard stock model, new, unused and the product of a reputable manufacturer. The unit shall consist of a bridge with end trucks, electric hoist and trolley motor and push button controls. The Overhead Hoist package furnished shall comply with all industrial safety requirements as outlined by Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Crane Manufacturer Association (CMAA), American National Standard Institute (ANSI), Hoist Manufacturers Institute (HMI), and National Electric Code (NEC). The capacity, operating characteristics, accessories, and component parts of the unit shall be in accordance with the specifications that will be furnished upon request from interested quoters by submitting a fax to (304) 529-5281, Attn: Mary Ann Maynard or telephone request at (304) 529-5736. All quotes must be received by 31 Jan 2001, 04:30 P.M. There will be no exceptions. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business.
