SYNOPSIS: Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: DAAH23-01-R-0259; PRON: AX1F0157AX; NSN: 5365-01-092-7491; Quantity: 7,800 each (Min)/55,800 each (Max), First Year: 7,800 each, Second Year: 12,000 each, Third Year: 12,000 each, Fourth Year: 12,000 each, Fifth Year: 12,000 each; Part Number: 70361-05011-101; Restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Rexnord Corp., and Ohio Gasket and Shim Co.; Noun: Shim; NAICS Code: 332116; Closing Date: 2001 February 28; Applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Deliveries are FOB destination to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing (FAT) is 3,000 each 300 days after contract award (DACA), and 1,800 each per month thereafter until delivery is complete. First Article Test Report (FATR) is due 188 DACA. Required delivery without FAT is 3,000 each 200 DACA, and 1,800 each per month thereafter until delivery is complete. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by submitting a source approval request (SAR) package to AMCOM, AMSAM-AR-EI-FS/James Procyk, (256) 313-4907, Building 5681, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000.
