Description

The United States Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to acquire by negotiation a quantity of 4 each, Signal Message Processors (SMPs), NSN: 5895-01-333-3985, part number CP-1187B. Sole source negotiation is proposed with BAE Systems Aerospace Inc., 1 Hazeltine Way, Greenlawn, NY 11740-1606 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Government does not possess the technical data necessary to define the form, fit, function or performance of these required SMPs to allow for a competitive acquisition. Military packing and packaging is required in accordance with MIL-STD 2073. Delivery requirement of 2 each 240 days and 2 each 270 days after contract to DDSP New Cumberland Facility, PA.
