Description

Notice that the General Services Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA 98310 intends to solicitate for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 (also see Note 1) Delivery date is no later than February 26, 2001. The request for quote is to provide 48 student work surfaces for training centers in Norfolk, VA 23511-3392. These worksurfaces shall meet the following general requirements: Materials: Top Surface High pressure decorative plastic laminate, MIL-P-17171, Type IV (fire retardent) Top Backing Solid, 1 inch thick minimum. No particle board Sides, Base 16 gauge steel, minimum Finish: Top Surface Matte, scratch resistant, non-corrosive Metal Surfaces Powdered Epoxy Color: Top Surfaces Wilsonart International 4621-60 White Nebula or as specified in ordering document Metal Surfaces light gray Modesty Panel: A full width modesty panel shall be installed in all variants. Full side panels w/cable pass throughs located at wire management tray level. Levelers: 4, adjustable 0.5 inch minimum Wire Management: An integrated wireway and wire management system shall be provided. This feature may be integrated into the modesty panel but must be located at the bottom of the modesty panel. Weight Rating: 400 pound minimum Power strip: Power strip with 15' power cord and 10' remote switch to be included by vendor. Keyboard tray: Keyboard tray shall include a small ledge on the front and back to prevent the keyboard from sliding off of the front or back of shelf. Additional Requirements: 36" computer work surface Top Surface Flat, with 5 inch recessed flat monitor platform. Monitor platform shall be 20 inches wide, offset 5 inches from left edge, and 12 inches from front edge. Grommeted openings shall be provided to the CPU compartment. Keyboard Tray Retractable tray for fullsize (19") keyboard. Keyboard tray should be aligned with monitor tray.
