Reference is made to the December 4, 2000 CBD announcement, record number SN5077C8 inviting the submission of qualifications and proposal data (collectively referred to as the "Proposal") for the above study for the C.A. de Administraci n y Fomento El ctrico (CADAFE). This is to notify interested U.S. firms that due to the need of CADAFE for additional preparation time for the receipt and review of the proposals, the deadline for the submission of proposals has been extended from January 15, 2001 to no later than 4:00PM local Caracas time on January 29, 2001.
