- The Denver Federal Center will be holding their Summer Technology Exposition on-site on Friday, August 10, 2001. There are more than 32,000 Federal Employees within the Federal Center. 250-400 procurement and decision makers will be at hand looking for the latest and greatest technological advancements. This event will be promoted to BLM, EPA, BOR Engineering & Research Center, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Mines, Federal Archives & Records, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Federal Employee Health Unit, Federal Highway Administration, Food and Drug Administration, Forest Services, OSM, DA, USGS, USDA, General Services Agency, Minerals Management Service, Mine Safety & Health Administration, Office of Surface Mining, U.S Army Reserve Training Center, U.S. Geological Survey. Some requested technologies include Notebooks, LANs, Modems, Token Ring, Client/Server Connections, Color and Laser Printers and Monitors, Hard Disk Drives, Storage Devices, Tape Backup Systems, Scanners, Memory and Graphic Boards, Internet Access, E-mail, Database Management, Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Project Management, CAD/CAE/CAM, Multimedia, Network Security, and Video Teleconferencing.
