Description

The Office of Thrift Supevision (OTS) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to IHS Financial Products, Inc., 15 Inverness Way East, Englewood, CO 80112, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The contractor will provide to OTS a comprehensive database containing all the rules and regulations related to the banking industry. The database is in both CD-ROM (updated monthly) and web-based (updated daily) versions and contains materials published by the major federal and state regulators, together with all the laws and rules governing the banking market. It is provided to all OTS examiners, and other interested staff, as well as to the financial services industry. Affirmative responses shall contain enough facts to substantiate the respondent has a fully developed comparable commercial database, containing similar information, that clearly shows its ability to meet the requirement at terms more advantageous to the Government. All affirmative responses received by February 20, 2001 will be considered. This notice is not a request for proposals, since no formal solicitation is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
