Description

The VA Medical Center, Fayetteville NC is soliciting offers and seeking potential sources to provide Medical Staffing Services at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville NC. The contracted staff will be used as temporary staff for vacant positions during the recruitment process for permanent staff or to fill gaps resulting from sick leave or vacation leave that the VA is unable to cover with current staff. VAMC Fayetteville, currently have an immediate need for the following staff positions: Mental Health Service Line Chief, Pharmacist, Gastroentologist, Pulmonologist, Psychiatrist and Anesthetist. The contract period will be sixty days from the date of credential confirmation, not to exceed six months. The contractor/agency will be required to provide documentation of malpractice insurance. In accordance with the VA Compliance Plan, the contractor/agency will ensure that their company and individuals applying for positions do not appear on the current Office of Inspector General's Exclusion List from participation in Medicare, Medicaid and other Federal Health Care Programs. One or more awards may be made from this solicitation. This is an unrestricted commercial item procurement and FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 procedures will be used for this requirement.
