Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This requirement will be procured utilizing NAICS Code 72111. This is a synopsis (RFQ-DC-01-00097) to secure a hotel conference/meeting facility for the EPA's Office of Research and Development's (ORD) Administrative Management and Training Conference 2000, to be held February 5 -- 8, 2001 in Baltimore, Maryland for approximately 375+ attendees. The purpose of this meeting is to provide training to ORD's Laboratory, Center and Office Administrative Staff in organizational development with emphasis on improving skills and gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the support needs of ORD's scientists and managers. Emphasis will be placed on Goal 2 of ORD's Strategic Plan entitled, "Be a High Performing Organization". All responsible offerors are encouraged to demonstrate their capabilities to complete this requirement along with their proposals.
