Description

This solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for protective coating maintenance at Ellsworth AFB, SD. The work covered by this Statement of Work consists of furnishing all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, quality control, and administration to provide interior and exterior protective coating for various base facilities. Buildings could be occupied during painting operations. Work includes, but is not limited to: painting of partial and complete interiors and exteriors to include trim, sand blasting, water blasting, repainting of fire systems, striping of parking lots, cross walks, roadways, painting street arrows, painting of airfield runway, taping, bedding, texturing walls and ceilings, and the installation of vinyl wall coverings. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the total contract. The performance period will begin 1 April 2001 and or date of award with the base year continuing through 30 September 2001, and four, one-year option periods. The NAICS Code is 235210. This action is a competitive 8(a) solicitation and limited to South Dakota and Wyoming certified 8(a) firms. This project is tentatively schedule to be issued 15 February 2001. Evaluation of this solicitation will be based on past performance being more important than price. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. This will be an Internet only solicitation. Document will not be available by any other means.
