Description

1. The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logostic Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division, has a requirement for Four(4) each, Stainless Steel, Electrically Heated, Single Sliding Windows. The forward window of each pair should be fixed, thus the port and starboard windows are mirror images of each other. Windows should be resistant enough to withstand the harsh conditions of a Polar environment (i.e. low temperatures, high winds and sea spray). Windows should meet MIL-W-18445D requirements for Type I controller: electric heating coating should be designed for 440 VAC operations. Window frames must be constructed of either a corrosion resistant steel (CRES), bronze or aluminum material. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Attention: Minority Women Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are avaible under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
