Description

FIRM FIXED-PRICE REMEDIATION SERVICES CONTRACT WITH COST CAP INSURANCE FEATURE (FPR-CCC) (FORMERLY GUARANTEED FIXED PRICE REMEDIATION -- GFPR). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District intends to issue Request For Proposal (RFP) DACW45-01-R-0006 on or about 2 February 2001. The major components of this RFP include the following: Firm-Fixed Price Contract, Underwriter Protection for the Government, Performance Based Statement of Work, Site Specific Acquisition, and a Cradle-to-Grave Concept. This initiative is an Army pilot project to award such a contract to provide a full spectrum of environmental remediation services as identified in SIC code 8744 and NAICS code 56210 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas based on a firm fixed-price basis. This project will be competed using a mulit-step process as identified FAR Part 15.202. Phase I proposal submittals shall be due on 21 March 2001 and Phase II proposal submittals shall be due on 24 July 2001. The submittal requirements and specific times are specified in the RFP. PLEASE NOTE: The prospective offeror must participate in Phase I in order to be considered for Phase II. The Government also intends to conduct a Pre-proposal Conference for this solicitation.
