Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona, 85364 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Empire Machinery, 3392 Highway 86, Imperial CA 92251 and 3050 E. Hwy 95, Yuma, Arizona, for repair of Government-owned Caterpillar equipment for the period of February through September 30, 2001. Competition is restricted to only one source due to the Empire being the only authorized dealer to work on Caterpillar equipment in our geographic areas. Repair services are required for the areas in Imperial, California, and Yuma, Arizona. This acquisition will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. The anticipated award date is February 5, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The quotation shall show the sources' capability to provide service to all required areas.
