Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 233320. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located within the National Historic District at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation have approved the project drawings and specifications. The Base Historic Preservation Officer must approve any deviations. This project involves the demolition of an existing one story wood frame golf clubhouse of approximately 6500 SF and the construction of a new one story frame and brick clubhouse of approximately 6800 SF. The demolition work will include a limited amount of asbestos abatement. The new clubhouse contains men's and women's restrooms, administrative areas, pro shop, commercial type kitchen, dining rooms and storage and mechanical room. The site will includes fill, grading, landscaping, irrigation system, brick walls, patio, sidewalks, concrete curbs, asphalt driveway, exterior lighting and site utilities. The building work includes excavation, concrete foundations, concrete floor slabs, steel and wood structural system, steel stud partitions, full brick veneer, masonry fireplaces, shingled roof, interior work and finishes, storefront, windows, wood and metal doors, hot water heating system, ducted air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and communication systems and installation of government-furnished kitchen equipment. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is three hundred (300) calendar days. There is no winter exclusion period for this project. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about February 23, 2001, with closing a date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal -- Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov.
