Description

Solicitation DAAE20-01-R-0056 is for various non-improved periscopes. The government anticipates a 5 year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which includes four additional ordering periods. Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) procedures/processes will be included in this solicitation/contract. Periscopes included are M17, NSN: 6650-00-704-3549, PN 7043549, End Use Various Weapon Systems; M45, NSN: 1240-00-509-2743, PN 8213430, End Use M109 Howitzer Series; M45 (modified), NSN: 1240-01-419-5954, PN 12927749, End Use M109A6 Paladin; M27, NSN: 1240-00-344-4643, PN 7633132, End Use M109 Howitzer Series; M37, NSN: 6650-00-856-9455, PN 8635100, End Use M60 Tank Series. Final award will be based on best value acquisition techniques (BVAT), with Price, Performance Risk, and Small Business Participation being evaluated. Estimated issue date of this solicitation is on or about 16 Feb 01. FOB is Origin. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set Aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet.
