Description

An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted for specified services currently performed by Government personnel for Yakima Training Center (YTC) Operations, Yakima, WA. The study is in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities, to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation, i.e., continued performance by Government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the following services: Administrative Services, Logistics Services, Public Works Services, Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security Services, Environmental Services, Community Services, Housing Billeting Services and Facility Assignments, Information Management, Support Services and Roads, Grounds and Range Support Maintenance Services. The Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued on 18 January 2001. Receipt of proposals are due by 1400 hrs (PT) on 21 February 2001. A site visit has been scheduled for 1 and 2 February 2001 in accordance with the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation package is available at the Directorate of Contracting Web Site for download. Any resultant contract will have a performance period, which includes a 30-day phase-in, of a base year and four option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 56121, Facilities Support Services -- Base Maintenance with a small business size standard of $20 million.
