Description

This is a reissue of a synopsis that was originally published on 12 July 2000. This procurement may result in award of a contract to provide work including demolishing three existing underground cut and cover fuel tanks and providing two new field erected, aboveground fuel storage tanks, concrete dikes, fuel transfer pumps, fuel transfer pipelines, truck loading, truck off-loading, pipeline filtration, and incidental work at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland by means of a firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification number is 234990(size standard $27.5M). Estimated construction cost range for this procurement is $5 million to $10 million. Award is to be based on price and other non-price factors. Technical/management information, past performance, and cost are all considered equal in importance to each other in determining the best overall value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 19 February 2001. The date and location of the pre-proposal conference will be identified in the solicitation package.
