Repair Services -- Non-personal: The Contractor shall furnish all required labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish Immersion Ultra-Sonic and Eddy Current Inspections on particular serialized F-108 Fan Disks. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated with a one-year option. The solicitation and resulting contract will have the following CLINs: CLIN 0001, Perform both the Immersion Ultra-Sonic and Eddy Current Inspections, Basic Year is estimated at 18 ea and the Option year is estimated at 15 ea. CLIN 0002, Perform Immersion Ultra-Sonic Inspection only, Basic Year is estimated at 18 ea and the Option year is estimated at 15 ea. CLIN 0003, Perform Eddy Current Inspection only, Basic Year is estimated at 5 ea and the Option year is estimated at 5 ea. CLIN 0004 covers G009 Data. These items are titanium alloy forgings. The inner front flange provides the attachment for the fan shaft and it's rear flange is bolted to the booster rotor. The outer front flange provides the attachment for the spinner cone. The disk outer rim has 44 recesses designed for fan blade retention. There is no Government Furnished Tooling. Deliveries to Tinker AFB OK 73145. A written solicitation will be issued only to the sources which are pre-qualified/approved CFMI Inspection shops. The inspection shop will have the appropriate technical data, service bulletins and inspection equipment to accomplish the inspections of these items. The Statement of Work, attached to the solicitation, contains the specific references for these required non-personal services. CFMI approved sources are: Kachina Technical Services & Processes Inc, Phoenix AZ; United Airlines, San Francisco CA; Chromalloy Dallas, Dallas TX; GE Aircraft Engines QTC, Evendale OH; CFM International Cincinnati OH; GE Aircraft Engines Strother, Arkansas City KS. Solicitation number F34601-01R-65773 will be issued on or about 01 February 2001. Closing date is on or about 01 March 2001.
