Description

Single award, one year term contract for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Norfolk and Portsmouth, VA. For the procurement of Envelopes by the printing process (copying and duplicating will not be acceptable). Approximately 156 orders will be issued over the year. Sizes will be standard sizes of the No. 9, 10 and 11 (with and without windows), and 152 x 241 mm (6 x 9-1/2") thru 305 x 407 (12 x 16") white and kraft colored. Quantity will range from 100 to 300,000 copies per order, average of 8,000 copies for the standard 9, 10 and 11, and average of 5,000 for all other sizes. Pick up from the agency will be expected. When required proof will be required within three workdays and the completed delivery will be within five workdays. Printing in mostly black or blue inks, no process. Envelopes will be furnished on approximately 5% of the orders. Government will be furnishing mostly manuscript copy, occasionally camera copy and/or negatives. The contract requires such operations as composition, offset printing, packing and distribution.
