Description

Provide Single Engine Air Tanker flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the US Forest Service fire suppression program at John Day, Oregon. The contract period will be from date of award until July 1, 2002 with exclusive use period of July 2 to September 20. The Term of the contract is one year with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires one single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a FAA approved hopper capacity of at least 500 gallons of material weighing eight pounds per gallon (4,000 pounds). The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137.
