Description

Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 135 Air Taxi Operators & Commercial Operators. Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of one Twin Otter (or equal) aircraft in support of Bureau of Land Management Smokejumper operations for the approximate period of June 11, 2001 through September 8, 2001. The term of the contract will be one year with options for up to an additional four years. Designated base is Boise, Idaho. This solicitation will be sent to those firms who responded to the previous solicitation (800-18) and to those responding to this announcement. Requests may be faxed to 208/387-5780. THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS AMENDED TO REMOVE THE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, MAKING IT UNRESTRICTED, AND ALSO CHANGING THE DUE DATE.
