Description

The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for existing buildings or a facility to be constructed in Masonville, NY 13804. All sites within the preferred area will be considered; however, sites offered within the following boundaries will receive priority consideration: 12 mile north or south on Rt. 8 from the intersection with Rt. 206; 12 mile east or west on Rt. 206 from the intersection with Rt. 8. Space requirements are approximately: net interior, 1,753 sf; driveway, parking & maneuvering, 20,000 sf; platform, 275 sf. The total site size is 43,560 sf. The lease term is a basic 20-year lease with 4 five-year renewal options. Proposals will be received through March 2, 2001. To request a formal solicitation package, including plans, specifications, and proposal documents, send a non-refundable check or money order made payable to _Disbursing Officer, USPS_ in the amount of $50.00 to: Robert McGrath, Facilities Engineer, USPS Adminstrative Support, 30 Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12288-9991. Packages MUST BE requested by mail. No cash will be accepted. No phone orders or walk-ins will be permitted.
