Description
This is a combined CBD/Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1.) NSN 6115-01-326-8174, Wave Activated Generators, Qty 8 each. Generators are rated at 12 volts, 100 watts at 6000 rpm. Height: 400 mm (15-3/4"), Diameter: 320 mm (12-5/8"), and Weight: 7.5kg (16.5 lbs). The manufacturer is Ryokuseisha Corporation, Japan and the U.S. Coast Guard ELC intends on obtaining pricing directly from the manufacturer or its authorized distributors. Brand Name Only!! Quotations shall include unit price, proposed delivery in days (after receipt of order), your company Tax ID number and DUNS Number. Generators shall be packaged individually in accordance with standard commercial practice suitable for reshipment to any destination in the USA. Each box/crate shall, as a minimum, contain the item name, weight, order number, and NSN. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and Barcoding is required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Columbia , MD 21046. NOTE: Offers shall be based on FOB Destination only! Any costs associated with customs, duties, or other related transportation costs shall be borne by the offeror, the Government will not be responsible for these costs. Offerors are instructed to include a completed copy of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-3, "Offerors Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items (Jan 2001)" with their proposal. A copy of clause 52.212-3 will be provided upon request. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this Request for Quotation and are incorporated by reference: FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000). The following addenda is added to 52.212-1: (1) Paragraph (b) -- Offerors who choose to submit their proposal on an SF 1449 may contact Ms. Harwood for a copy of the SF 1449. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May 1999). FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The following addenda is added to FAR Clause 52.212-2: All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ability to provide the above described item, via fax, in writing, to Ms. Florence Harwood, not later than 12 February 2001. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (Aug 2000) applies to this acquisition and the following clauses cited in the clause are applicable to this acquisition: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212).
