Description

Light Fixed-Wing Aircraft Services, on an exclusive use basis, for use in the protection and management of National Forest Lands in the Pacific Northwest (Region 6). One(1) aircraft with pilot(s), single engine, high-wing configuration, equipped to perform special missions, such as wildland fire Air Attack, reconnaissance and miscellaneous aerial fire suppression activities, fully operated and maintained by the Contractor. One aircraft to be located at the designated base of Roberts Field, Redmond, Oregon for 60-day mandatory availability period with start date also estimated to be mid-May. The solicitation is expected to issue March 13, 2001.
