- Description
- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate,on a sole source basis, a simplified acquisition with J. Stewart Bland Associates, Inc. (JSB) to assist the NRC staff with the revision of the dose modeling and dose assessments for certain exempt products and materials reflected in draft NUREG-1717 in order to finalize the NUREG. The period of performance will be for two (2) months. Since 1999, JSB has assisted the NRC staff with the revaluation of dose assessments contained in dtaft NUREG-1717. Therefore, JSB is the only known qualified source possessing the unique knowledge and expertise specific to performing the dose assessments for products and material containing byproducts and source materials provided in draft NUREG-1717. All responsible sources can respond. Written responses should provide evidence of the respondent's capability to perform the required services. See Note 22.
