Description

The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command intends to conduct negotiations with and award a contract to Consentius Technologies, 8152 South 1715 East, Sandy, Utah 84093, on a basis of other than full and open competition, reference FAR 6.302-1(a) for ParvoMedics TrueMax 2400 Metabolic Measurement System with Compact Analyzer Module, OUSW-3.3 Windows 02 Uptake Software, Dell P-III 866 GX110/L Optiplex Desktop Computer w/17" Monitor, HP Laserjet 1100 Printer, 8-Channel A/D Card and Analog Signal Cable, Hans Rudolph Breathing Circuits, 3 Noseclips, 3 Mouthpieces, 4-Liter High -Efficiency Mixing Chamber, Ten 5 micrometer Gas Sampling Filters and Four Perma Pure Drying lines, Standard Calibration Gas, ED Cylinder, 2-Stage CGA973 Gas Regulator, 3-Shelf Mobile Cart w/Extra large Wheels, Gas Mounting brackets, 10' Power strip, Swing Arm w/Adapter Bracket, 3-year warranty, On-site Installation and user training, Polar Heart Rate Interface. The ParvoMedics TrueMax 2400 Metabolic measurement system is distributed only by Consentius Technologies. There is no other vendor or distributor reselling this product. The compact size of the analyzer system and cart are essential to accomplish the mission in a small area such as the altitude chamber and ease of transport to remote research locations. (Analyzer: 12- inches wide x 10-inches deep x 5-inches high; Cart: 19-inches wide x 22-inches deep x 37-inches high.) 30-second gas auto cal. Is required to minimize interruption of data collection during sustain operations. To meet metabolic measurement standards in extreme environment the system must use the Yeh algorithm.
