Description

The Federal Highway Administration plans to negotiate with the State of Montana Department of Transportation (MDOT) to develop a report discussing the feasibility of mapping utilities using Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS) or other similar technologies. Because MDOT is the only transportation department known to be capable of mapping utilities at this time using GIS, GPS or other similar technologies, no other source is considered reasonably available. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is February 7, 2001.
