Description

TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC), Fort Eustis, Virginia intends to issue a DRAFT solicitation with request for comment on 19 JAN 01. Solicitation is for the procurement of Training Support Center (TSC) services at Fort Huachuca, Arizona under OMB Circular A-76 (Commercial Activities). TAC welcomes industry comment/questions/suggestions pertaining to any portion of the solicitation. Particular interest to TAC pertains to SECTIONS L and M of the solicitation and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Responses are requested prior to close of business on 23 February 2001. Pertinent responses to the DRAFT solicitation will be used to evaluate and improve this action and similar A-76 TSC actions issed by TAC. The DRAFT is NOT a Request For Proposals (RFP), the actual RFP will be synopsized and issued at a later date. The requirements may include but not limited to the performance services relating to the TSC facility Operations and Supervision, TSC Logistic Support Services, Graphic Services, Device Services, Photographic Services, and Television/Visual Information Production Services. The anticipated Performance Period is a Base 12-month period with four (4) 12-month option periods. The NAICS Code is 7812 with a size standard of $20.5 million. It is anticipated that this action will result in a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under Part 19 of the FAR. Anticpated contract type is Cost-Plus-Award Fee. Formal Source Selection Procedures will be utilized. Oral Presentations will be required as part of the technical proposal. A site visit will be conducted after issuance of the RFP. Paper copies will not be issued for either the DRAFT or the actual RFP.
