Description

The purpose of this notice is to modify the combined synopsis/solicitation as follows: Delete from the description, The equipment shall have a refrigeration system to trap vapors inside the tank. This system shall also have a secondary set of coils around the inside perimeter of the tank, directly above the primary condensing coils to provide additional cooling capacity for primary and secondary freeboard. One compressor for maximum space and equipment efficiency shall provide cooling for both units. Type I ozone depleting substances shall not be used as refrigerants. System shall provide a minimum of 100% freeboard. Add to description, The equipment shall be a two compressor refrigeration system. The refrigeration system shall efficiently trap vapors inside the tank. This system shall also have a secondary set of coils around the inside perimeter of the tank, directly above the primary condensing coils to provide additional cooling capacity for primary and secondary freeboard. System shall provide a minimum of 150% freeboard. Type I ozone depleting substances shall not be used as refrigerants. Delete "Due date 121100" and insert "Due Date 020201". All other terms and conditions of the original combined synopsis/solicitation issued Nov 15, 2000. Offerors shall acknowledge this notice as part of their quote.
