Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington has a requirement for one Horizontal Pull Test Machine for testing wire rope assemblies, swaged fittings, chains and pulleys for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 421830. This requirement shall include assembly, installation, training, and testing of the equipment. This is a commercial item. This is being procured under FAR 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Item." The FSC Code is 6635. This requirement shall be of the manufacturer's current production models which, as of the date the solicitation is issued, have been designed, engineered and sold, or are being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer's published catalogs or brochures. This shall be a Firm Fixed Price procurement. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH within 120 days after contract award. All offerors shall be registered with the Central Contractor Register (CCR) before award. It is the Government's intent that a single (primary) contractor be awarded this contract.
