Description

This is a small business set-aside Request for Proposal to provide an experienced Histotechnologist in possession of a BS degree to prepare and process tissue samples/specimens extracted during surgery for pathology/physician analysis/interpretation. Must have a minimum of 100 hours direct specimen processing experience. Performance period is approximately 2 days per week, 4 1/2 hours per day at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. Contract is for one (1) base year with (2) one-year options. Source selection procedures will be utilized in the award process. Solicitations to be available o/a 2/7/01 with proposals due o/a 2/28/01. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.
