Description

This is an emergency repair of fill slopes on Road #440, Tuni Gap, located on Tusquitee and Wayah Ranger Districts, Clay and Macon Counties. Location of work and pre-quote meeting: From Franklin, NC, take US 64 west to Chatuge Lake, turn right on SR 130 to SR 1307, turn right to SR 1311, turn left, continue until road gate. Quotation packages will be distributed at pre-quote meeting to be held at above location on 2/9/01 at 10:00 a.m. eastern std time. Meet at gate on road as described above. Estimated cost is $25,000-$100,000. Work will require approximately 1700 (English, not metric) tons of class II rip rap, machine placed, minimum size machine will be a Cat.200 trck hoe or equal.
