Description
The contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendent, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities to complete renovation of the Processing & Distribution Center's Temporary Mail Annex in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The project involves the construction of tenant improvements to an existing lease space within an existing warehouse building at the location indicated on the drawings. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, site improvements, paving, concrete foundations and slab on grade, steel structure, steel joist and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceiling, resilient flooring, carpeting, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glazing, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors, metal fabrications, toilet partitions, accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, fire protection and detection systems, security systems, electrical and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning completed and ready to use. A MANDATORY Preproposal Conference will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. on February 13, 2001 at the Temporary Mail Processing Annex, 7601 Bluewater NW, Albuquerque, NM. Estimated construction cost range is between $1,300,000 and $1,700,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names, and the amount of their offers WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION.
