Description

Programmed Drydocking, Cleaning, Painting and Repairs to US Army Reserve Vessel Landing Craft Utility, (LCU) 2028, Stationed at Mare Island, Vallejo, California, with dimensions as follows: Length Overall: 174 feet; Beam: 42 feet; Depth: 11 feet 6 inches; Displacement (Light): 575 Long Tons; Draft Light (Mean): 8 feet; Draft (Max): 8.85 feet; Design: 2000; Construction: Steel (Hull). This procurement is unrestricted. Requests should indicate whether the concern is a small or large business. Under SIC Code 3731, a concern is small if the number of employees of the concern and its affiliates does not exceed 1,000 persons. Contractors shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Fort Eustis, Virginia, in order to be awarded this contract. The solicitation package will be available on 15 Feb 01. There is a $22.00 NONREFUNDABLE charge for the first set of specifications and a $16.00 NONREFUNDABLE charge for each additional set. CD format is available for $15.00 each.
