- Description
- Modification No. 1 to CBD Notice published January 8, 2001. This modification is issued to revise the Statement of Work (SOW) and to provide answers to questions received. The following is the revised SOW: The contractor shall perform annual primary injection testing and maintenance on the main switchgear and switchgear connectors, switchboard assemblies, protective relays, surge protection devices and routine inspection, thermography testing and servicing of electrical panels to include: loose wires and lugs, heaters, lugs and indicating lights, an all lighting contactors. All annual testing and maintenance shall occur between the months of December 2001 and January 2002. Servicing of switchgear connectors and all scheduled or potential disruptions of power shall be coordinated through the designated DOE/NV Point of Contact (POC) prior to that work being performed. This PO will include testing/inspection of following equipment: 1-GE Distribution/Control Unit Substation consisting of a mater unit, heater and light switches, a GE AKD-8 Switchgear, main breaker and secondary disconnect; 4-Power Con Corp 15kVA 600A Model S-12241, D-9512 Load Interrupters; 2-Culter-Hammer Automatic Transfer Switches; 2-2500kVA 480/277V liquid filled transformers; 6-112kVA 208/120V dry-type transformers; 5-75kVA 208/120V dry-type transformers; 3-45kVA 208/120V dry-type transformers; 6-30kVA 208/120V dry-type transformers; 2-15kVA 208/120V dry-type transformers; main switchboard to include 19 GE power breakers, 2 main breakers and 1 tie breaker; 21-feeder panels to include 83 GE Spectra molded case circuit breakers (15 to 1200A); 44-GE heavy-duty safety switches (30 to 100A); 10-GE heavy-duty safety switches (200 to 800A); 1-GE 300-line motor control unit (480v), to include 8 heaters/starters; 1-GE 8000-Line Control Center (480V) to include 21 heater/starters; 5-United Power transient voltage surge suppressors; 2-75kVA United Power, power conditioning units; 2-50kVA United Power, power conditioning units; 1-30kVA United Power, power conditioning unit. Documentation and use of switchgear checklist form, infra-red scan report form, air circuit breaker test and inspection report form, disconnect switch test and inspection report form, protective relay test report, and dielectric test sheet shall be required for this preventative maintenance contract. Contractor shall provide a written report of potential failure conditions at end of inspection. Work could possibly take two weekends to complete due to power outage scheduling. The receipt date for quotes has been extended to February 14, 2001, by 4:30pm PST.
