Description

The work will consist of the installation of passenger and property security systems for four commuter rail stations, the Intermodal Transportation Center and the Equipment Maintenance Facility for the Trinity Railway Express. The system consists primarily of interior and exterior surveillance cameras linked to a central monitoring facility together with emergency telephone locations. The Invitation fro Bid (IFB) maybe obtained at the T's main office at 1600 E. Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76102-6720, beginning on or about February 16, 2001 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There will be a non-refundable charge for the package of $100.00 for full size drawings. Half size drawings are not available for this project. Cash, check, money order or credit card must be made payable to the Fort Worth Transportation Authority. There will be a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontracting goal of the contract amount established for this project. Only those DBEs that have been certified by the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) are considered by the FWTA.
