- Description
- This proposed procurement is Small Business Set Aside, SIC 1623 and the NAICS is 23492. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Completion no later than 270 calendar days. Work consists of the following tasks: rewind three (3) synchronous 2500 Hp motors, replacement of traveling water screens 1 through 6 with control panels, replacement of de-watering pumps and control panels, replacement of lighting in control room, replacement of fuel storage tank with an above average ground tank with electronic monitoring unit in the fuel tank room, provide and install a 200 gallon Bladder-type vertical expansion tank, provide and install two (2) electric toilets and one (1) electric urinal, and some painting. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31 May 1998. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be in one of the following: compact disc only, compact disk and Internet, or the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency.
