Description

Notice of intent to award contract DTCG80-01-P-325989 on a sole source basis to Appleton Marine Inc under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for (2) Cross-deck Winch, Model #BMD-471,Revision 1. Procurement of these winches are IAW ECR-72(SHIPALT), Cross-Deck Winch Upgrade,Bouy Deck Mod (RETRO-PACKAGE). Expected delivered date is April 20, 2001, or early as possible.. The North American Industry classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 with small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the request or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However all quotes received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with the proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the propose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be accepted.
