17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F34601-01-R-5576. The solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP). Source(s) is: (Cage 63005 ) Rolls-Royce Corp, 2001 Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis IN 46206. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 (FAC). This is a requirement for Line Item 0001; NSN: 2840-00-150-7804OJ; to guide outside air to the 1st stage of compressor rotor blades. Item also allows anti icing air to be introduced to the compressor on T56 engine assemblies; qty is for 26 ea; P/N(s) 6873624; size/dimension: 15 inches in diameter by 2.00 inches wide; predominate material is stainless steel; applicable to the T56-7B/T56-A-15 engines. Place of delivery and acceptance is FISC Jacksonville FL (N68836) with FOB origin.
