Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitues the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This soliciation is issued as a Request for Quotation(RFQ); the number is DAAB07-01-Q-B013. The solicitation document and incorporated provisisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This acquisition is intended to be a sole source to Perkinelmer Optoelectronics (Salem, MA 01970), therefore, it is not a set-aside. The line items are as follows: 0001AA -- Frequency Standard (NSN: 6625-01-441-2974, Part No. 323592), quantity of 8 each. There are no special requirements for items purchased under CLIN/SLIN 0001AA. Shipments are to be FOB Destination. All items are to be shipped to: XU Transportation Officer/DDSP New Cumberland Facility/Building Mission Door 113 134/New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Delivery shall be within 90 days after contract award. The Government will accept incremental deliveries. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commerical. Not applicable to this solicitation is FAR clause 52.212.2, Evaluations -- Commerical Items. Offerors are required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commerical Items; this provision is to be sent as a seperate electronic attachment. Applicable to this solcitation is FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commerical Items. Applicable to this soliciation is FAR clause 52-212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commerical Items. This clause is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment.
