Description

This synopsis amends a previously submitted CBD announcement. Under the previous announcement the U. S. Army, TACOM-ARDEC and ARL, Warheads and Energetics Technology Center (WETC) informed the public of their working relationship with the National Warheads and Energetics Consortium (NWEC) and provided an NWEC point of contact for organizations interested in joining. Based upon inquires, this amendment clarifies that warheads and energetics research & development includes efforts conducted in Fuze and Power Supply and Battery Components that support Fuze Technology. Organizations that have an expertise in these areas and are interested in joining the NWEC should request a NWEC application from Joseph Tagairino. Requests for application shall be sent to the following email address: joetagpbm@aol.com. Completed applications shall be submitted by 22 Feburary 2001.
